Carbonite has the right security features (encryption with the option to manage your own key,) but their Terms of Use are unacceptable. As I read it, they can rewrite the entire document at any given time without giving any notice to customers and you automatically agree to it the moment you or your computer uses their services (which happens as soon as their software auto backs up some of your data.)Call me paranoid, but I'm not relying on anyone to backup my data unless there is a viable guarantee my backups work and changes to the ToS require advanced email notification.
